Bubbling Up: A Leelanau Clean Water Storytelling Show Remix

Join Leelanau Clean Water and Here:Say Storytelling on Monday, August 4 for an evening of live storytelling featuring true, first-person stories that celebrate water, in all its forms, anywhere in the world.

This FREE show features an engaging collection of stories from LCW storytelling shows staged in 2022 and 2024.

Doors: 6:30 PM, Stories begin at 7:30 PM

Featured Storytellers: Annalise Povolo, Anne-Marie Oomen, Jeff Smith, Jessie Zevalkink, Matt Soderquist

Location: Lively NeighborFood Market event space, 3805 W Empire Hwy, Empire, MI 49630

Admission: FREE event

This is an outdoor event, rain or shine. Check social media for updates if the forecast calls for thunderstorms.

Parking: Ample parking is available at the venue.

Seating: Picnic-style seating. Please bring your own chairs or blankets.

Food and Beverage: Enjoy a variety of grab-and-go concessions from the all-local picnic takeout menu at Lively NeighborFood Market, such as Indian food, gluten-free options, house-made sandwiches, salads, crackers, cheese, dips, and ice cream. BYOB if you wish to consume alcohol – alcohol is not available for purchase at the venue.

Donations: Donations to Leelanau Clean Water are welcome. Look for the LCW table at the event to donate via cash, check, or PayPal.

Yoga on the Beach with LCW

Join us on Monday, June 16th at 7:00 PM at Esch Beach in Benzie County, MI for a session of Yoga on the Beach with LCW to connect with the water within and around us.

Led by instructor Amy Hubbell of Yoga on the Beach, 30% of proceeds will be donated to LCW from YOTB! Please consider giving a donation of $10 - $20 to YOTB for the session (cash, Venmo, and PayPal accepted).

Info for yoga practice: Wear loose, comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather. Bring drinking water, a yoga mat or beach towel, and an open mind!

About YOTB: Since 2010, Yoga on the Beach has offered outdoor yoga classes, yoga hikes and private yoga sessions in beautiful northern Michigan. Weekly donation-based beach yoga classes run from the Summer Solstice until the Autumn Equinox. Yoga hikes and private classes are offered year-round.
